The mission of the Greenville County Recreation District sports program is to offer safe, fun athletic experiences with an emphasis on sportsmanship. The programs provide individuals opportunities to participate in a recreational atmosphere.
Little League Baseball
The Greenville County Recreation District is affiliated with Little League Baseball, the oldest and most highly regarded youth sports organization in the world.
Little League guidelines ensure that boys and girls ages 5-18 compete on a level playing field. Teams follow standardized rules and policies.

Adult Softball
Adult softball is offered in the spring and fall. The following divisions are available:
Men’s Open, Women’s Open, Coed Open, Men’s Church, Women’s Church, Coed Church.

Youth Football
Football leagues for ages 6-13 teach the fundamentals of the game while emphasizing sportsmanship. 93 teams from leagues throughout Greenville participated in 2007. Please contact us at 288-6470, and we will gladly put you in touch with your local youth football association.

Youth Soccer
Youth soccer is played on numerous Recreation District fields. Registration for this sport is conducted by outside organizations. Please visit www.scysa.org and click on ‘clubs and affiliates’ to find a club in the Piedmont Region that is right for you.

Individual Adult Players
New to the area, or just looking to get active? Although we register entire teams for our adult leagues, we are usually able to place individuals on a team or create new teams from groups of interested participants. Call us at 288-6470, and we will find a place for you to play.

Adult Soccer
Competition in these leagues ranges from purely recreational to highly competitive. Call 288-6470 to get your adult soccer team into one of the following leagues:
-Spring Coed leagues (7v7) & Men’s leagues (11v11 and 7v7)
-Summer 6v6 Coed & Men’s leagues
-Fall Coed leagues (7v7) & Men’s leagues (11v11 and 7v7)
