Summer Tennis Camps

Times: 9 am to 11 am beginners and intermediate ages 6 to 16

(Formerly the Eastside Family YMCA Social Tennis League)

Our first season playing GCRD Ladies Doubles Social Tennis at the Greenville County tennis courts was very successful. We played at three locations—The Pavilion (East North Street/Scottswood Road), Butler Springs (Haywood Road/East North Street), and Southside (off Standing Springs Road in Simpsonville). We are now getting ready to play Spring 2008. We will continue to play on Wednesdays starting at 9 a.m.

If you have never played this social league in the past, please note:

Everyone who signs up will be placed in a group that is competitive and of equal playing ability using USTA ratings or past GCRD play history as a guideline.

By playing with “new” and “different” partners, against “new” and “different” players, you have the opportunity to expand your own tennis.

You might make a new friend.

At the end of the season, there will be a luncheon with gifts and awards.
